Jeannette Clark Akins, 85, of Ramseur, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Graveside Service, 2 PM, Monday, May 8, 2017, at Forestville Baptist Church, 1350 S. Main St., Wake Forest, NC.

Officiating, Rev. Ron Coleman.

Jeannette was a native of Tallahassee, Florida, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ramseur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Akins, parents, Harrison and Etta Mae Johnson Clark, five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors: daughter, Sharon Akins Burkhart, and husband, Larry, of Richmond, VA, sons, David Akins, and wife, Lynn, of Burlington, Tony Akins, and wife, Diane, of Archdale, Keith Akins, and wife, Ailene, of Graham, Mark Akins, of Marion, brother, George Clark, and wife, Virginia, of Tallahassee, FL, twelve grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren.
