James Henry "Jim" Maness, 83, of Ramseur, died Friday, March 10, 2017.

Funeral Services, 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Oakhurst Baptist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Dr. Keith Hudson, Dr. Richard Crider.

Burial, Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro.

Jim was a native of Montgomery County, a retired electrician with Sears and a member of the Oakhurst Baptist Church. Jim and Marian were residents of Greensboro for 40 years where they were charter members of Sharpe Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mildred McCaskill Maness, brother, Franklin Maness and sister, Rachel McCaskill.

Survivors: wife, Marian Bryant Maness, daughters, Diane M. Lindsey, and husband, Ben Lindsey, of Summerfield, Kathey Troxler, and husband, Dr. Richard Troxler, of Williamsport, PA, grandchildren, Scott Keen, Adam Keen, Joshua Troxler, Joseph Troxler, James Troxler, Brandon Lindsey, Kyle Lindsey, eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, Oakhurst Baptist Church, Asheboro and other times at the residence.
