James Arthur "Pete" Smith, 90, of Asheboro, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro.

Graveside Services, 1:00 PM, Monday, August 6, 2018, at Clear View Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Dr. Bruce Dickerson.

Pete was a native of Anderson, SC and retired from Jockey International.

Survivors: sisters, Sarah Lambert and husband, Wayne, of Moore, SC, Dorothy Cleveland, of Anderson, SC, brothers, Macon Smith, of Stanley, NC, Terry Smith, of Lauren, SC.
