James Vernon Kimrey

James Vernon Kimrey, 77, of Ramseur, died Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Graveside Services, 3:00 PM, Friday, October 11, 2019, at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Liberty.

Officiating, Eddie Hill.

Vernon was a native of Randolph County, a farmer, and retired from Ramseur Interlock with 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fleming and Pearl Williams Kimrey, sisters, Rudell Gunter, Arlene Curtis, Golda Johnson.

Survivors: wife, Shirley Moore Kimrey, of the home, son, James Randall "Randy" Kimrey, of Ramseur, sisters, Marie Allred, of Asheboro, Gertrude Kimrey, of Ramseur.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
