James Robert Fox, 89, of Cary, formerly of Asheboro, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Memorial Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Josh Kurtz.

James was a native of California, a retired psychologist, and a member of Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur. He was a Captain in the United States Airforce and a member of the Rotary Club.

Survivors: wife, Peggy Gilmore Fox, of Ramseur, daughter, Elisa Sumakeris, of Cary, son, Greg Fox, and wife, Becky, of Clemmons, sister, Vivian Berliner, of San Rafael, CA., grandchildren, Kathryn Sumakeris, Jay Sumakeris, Lucas Sumakeris, all of Cary, Joshua Fox, Jackson Fox, Levi Fox, all of Clemmons, niece, Laurie Berliner, of Fairfax, CA.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, Jordan Memorial United Methodist Church, Ramseur.
