Herman Raeford Brady, 74, of 578 Eastwood Dr., Asheboro, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Bennett.

Officiating, Rev. Don Edwards.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Raeford was a native of Chatham County, a 1961 graduate of Bennett High School, and formerly employed with Oliver Rubber Company and Harrelson Rubber Company.  He owned and operated Tarheel Sales and Service in Asheboro and was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lucy Gatlin Brady Powers and his brother, Vernon Brady.

Survivors: wife, Eva Williams Brady, of the home, daughters, Tanya B. Smith, and husband, Greg, of Staley, Towa B. Teague, and husband, Scott, of Snow Camp, sisters, Linda Wright, and husband, Donny, of Asheboro, Diane Pierce, and husband, Darrell, of Seagrove, Grace Ritter, of Asheboro, Kaye Durham, and husband, Jimmy, of Asheboro, brothers, Odell Brady, and wife, Carolyn, of Ramseur, Roland "Butch" Brady, and wife, Joanne, of Asheboro, Jesse Brady, and wife, Tina, of Bennett, Ronnie Brady, of Bennett, Jerry Brady, of Seagrove, Kenny Brady, and wife, Sandra, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Logan Smith, Lucas Smith, Bennett Teague, Owen Teague.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
