Hazel May Wigington Overman, 87, formally of Ramseur, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Siler City Center in Siler City.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Garner.

Burial, Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church, 2362 Brucewood Rd. Haw River, NC.

Hazel was a native of Henry County, Virginia and a longtime resident of Ramseur. She retired from Ramtex Inc. where she worked for 20 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Ramseur. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy S. Overman, infant son and daughter, Herbert Stanley Overman, and Amy Joyce Overman, parents, Randolph and Rosa Shough Wigington.

Johnson, husband, Ron, of Franklinville, sons, Blayne Overman, wife, Kay, of Ramseur, Tony Z. Overman, wife, Patti, of Fremont, David Overman, wife, Lisa, of Ramseur, sisters, Marie Carden, husband, Bobby, of Burlington, Linda Oakley, husband, Jerry, of Burlington, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
