Gertie Williams Luck, 81, of 1276 Haithcock Road, Franklinville, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Cedar Falls Baptist Church.

Officiating, Rev. Russell Chrisco.

Burial, Clear View Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Gertie was a native of Alamance County, formerly employed with Kayser- Roth Corporation, retired from Belk in Asheboro and a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris Meeks and Katherlene Williams, and her brother-in-law, Raymond Sharpe.

Survivors: husband, Vance Luck, of the home, daughters, Kem Taylor, and husband, Terry, of Randleman, Lynn Tyson, of High Point, son, Allen Thornburg, and wife, Maria, of Poquoson, VA, sister, Linda Sharpe, of Liberty, brothers, Gene Williams, and wife, Margie, of Altamahaw, NC, N. John "Buddy" Williams, Eugene Williams, and wife, Rita, both of Snow Camp, step-daughters, Lisa Adkins, and husband, Dean, of Climax, Robyn Whitaker, and husband, Tony, of Randleman,  step-sons, Jeff Luck, and wife, Sandra, of Asheboro, Tommy Luck, and wife, Deborah, of Randleman, eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren, best friend and caregiver, Judy Nance.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Randolph County and Heaven Sent Home Health Care for their service to the family.
