Gaye Elmore Joyce, 46, of 2867 Walker Store Rd., Franklinville, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Joyce.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Gaye Dilling Elmore Joyce was a good mother who showed unconditional love to each of her four sons. Gaye was a good wife who greatly enriched the life of her husband. Gaye had a special bond with her three sisters and her closest friends. Gaye approached life with impeccable style and grace. Gaye lived a life full of passion that left an impact on her classroom as an educator, on the basketball court as a coach, and in her personal life as a follower of Jesus Christ. Though her time on Earth was short, Gaye's legacy is as unwavering as her commitment to her family and as beautiful as the songs that were always in her heart. Gaye was a 1988 graduate of Hunter Huss High School and a 2010 graduate of Western Government University.

Survivors: Gaye is survived by her husband, Rev. Jeff Joyce, of the home, sons, Jeffrey Cameron Joyce, of Charlotte, Ethan William Joyce, and wife, Erin, of Franklinville, Levi Hampton Joyce, of the home, George Mason Joyce, and wife, Madison, of Franklinville, parents, William G. and Gayle Dilling Elmore, Jr., of Gastonia, sisters, Amy Parks, and husband, Tony, of Hilliard, Ohio, Molly Lloyd, of Bluffton, SC, Emily Wilson, and husband, Bryan, of Charlotte, grandchild, Banner Myles Joyce , and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville, and other times at the residence.
