Fred Bryan West, 96, of Hollywood, SC formerly of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Friday, November 24, 2017, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Mark Hall.

Burial, Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Fred was a native of Buncombe County, served his country in the U.S. Navy as a navy aviator, retired as a Station Manager with Delta Airlines at Raleigh Durham Airport, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Asheboro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Altman West and his parents, Emmett and Belle Bryan West, brother Oliver West, sister, Kathryn Moulds.

Survivors: daughters, Mary Laura Smithwick, and husband, Sonny, of Hollywood, SC, Kathleen Parsons, and husband, Milton, of Montgomery, Alabama, Kimberly Clark, and husband, Ed, of Charlottesville, Virginia, sons, David West, and wife, Barbara, of Marietta, Georgia, Tim West, and wife, Joi, of Ringgold, Georgia, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
