Fletcher Allen Grant, 41, of 7125 Marley Circle, Staley, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Fletcher was a very outstanding man. He loved nothing more in this world than his children and his family. No matter how bad of a day you were having, Fletcher would always say the one thing to make everything better. He had a smile that went on for days, and a heart that loved so deep, not even words can explain. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Birdie Grant, and his maternal grandmother Rosia Mae Hinson.
Survivors: daughters, Morgan Carden, of Trinity, Lacie Grant, Stormy Grant, both of Staley, grandchild, Addison Carden, of Trinity, mother, Linda Matney and husband Gary, of Randleman, father, James Grant and wife Naomi, of Liberty, sisters, Angie Foust and husband Travis, of Staley, Katrina Grant, of Lumberton, Michelle Kocan and husband Toby, of Hamlet, brothers, Jeffrey Bowman, of Liberty, Michael Bowman and wife Crystal, of Wadesboro, James Grant Jr., of Lumberton, Chris Grant, of Lumberton, He was also survived by his nieces, Kara Johnson and husband Dewayne, of Staley, Melana Foust, Kasey Bowman, Kayla Bowman and Brittany Grant, nephews, Dylan Allison, Nicholas Allison, Tyler Foust, Alex Bowman, Ian Bowman, Justin Kocan, and Chase Kocan along with his great nieces Rosemary Johnson, Addison Johnson (WooWoo) and Valerie Allison as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
