Evangeline "Vangie" Moody Gann, 86, of Asheboro, died Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 11:00 am, Friday, August 16, 2019, at Union Grove Christian Church, Asheboro.
Officiating, Harvey Chriscoe.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Vangie was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a member of Union Grove Christian Church. Vangie, a devoted wife and mother, dedicated her life to her family, friends, God, and church. She was known for her sweet spirit and loving smile, both of which she shared with others throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Foy Gann, parents, James Willie and Clatie York Moody, brothers, Howard Moody and Paul Moody.
Survivors: daughter, Sharon Gann Lisk and husband, Andy, of Draper, Utah, sons, John Gann and wife, Wendy, of Asheboro, James Gann of Asheboro, grandchildren, Cassie Gann, Kendon Gann, Martin Gann, Carter Gann, Drew Lisk, Ben Lisk, Caleb Lisk.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
