Eleanor Hinshaw Gunter, 80, of Asheboro, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at Hospice Home of High Point.

Memorial Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev Todd Brown.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Eleanor was a native of Randolph County and a member of Holly Spring Friends Meeting. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Millard Gunter, Sr., and her parents, Carl Cyrus and Hazel Stout Hinshaw, son, James Millard Gunter, Jr.

Survivors: daughter, Julia Hepler, of Thomasville, son, Jeff Gunter, and wife, Stacey, Myrtle Beach, SC, brother, Paul Hinshaw, and wife, Gladys, of Asheboro, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren.
