Eldridge Carmon Phillips, 76, of Liberty, died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Eldridge was a native of Bladen County and resided in Randolph County. He was semi-retired as a custom metal fabricator with C.P. Eakes in Greensboro and also owned a hunting club in Bladen County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge and Mary Melvin Phillips, brothers, Sammy Phillips and Kenneth Phillips.
Survivors: wife, Rebecca Alton, of the home, daughters, Lonnie Megan Phillips, of Hubert, NC, Leslie Godfrey and husband, Shawn, of Thomasville, son, Carmon Kyle Phillips and wife, Jodie, of Greensboro, step-children, Gale Blackwelder and husband, Robert, of Ramseur, Linville Hodgin, Jr. and wife, Crystal, of Eden, Becky Kabler and husband, James, of Liberty, Justin Hodgin, of Ramseur, Michelle Ellefson and husband, David, of Liberty , granddaughter, Haleigh Phillips, ten step-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Linda Phillips, of Elizabethtown, NC, niece, Samantha Phillips, great nephew, Jackson Phillips.
