Edward Renshaw LaVelle, Sr., 74, of Staley, died Friday, July 13, 2018 at Chatham Hospital  in Siler City.

Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Beulah Baptist Church, Bennett.

Officiating, Rev. Neal Jackson, Rev. Nat Thompson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Edward was a native of Tennessee, formerly employed with Hanes Mill and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Pattie Mai LaVelle.

Survivors: wife, Patricia Brady LaVelle, of the home, daughter, Patricia Mechelle LaVelle and husband, Dr. Ash Gupta, of Philadelphia, PA, sons, Edward Renshaw LaVelle, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Chapel Hill, Christian Carnet LaVelle and wife, Nikki, of Staley, sister, Martha Jane LaVelle Spray, and husband, Ira Edward "Bo", of Burlison, TN, grandchildren, Callie LaVelle, Katie LaVelle, Brennan LaVelle, Brooke LaVelle, Liam Gupta, Kaleigh LaVelle.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, or other times at the home of Christian LaVelle, 378 Browns Crossroads Rd., Staley.
