Douglas Lee York, 81, of Bennett, died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Jimmy Hill.

Douglas was a native of Randolph County, retired from Michael Thomas Furniture and was a member of the First Christian Church in Ramseur. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Wesley and Annie White York, brother, Daniel Wesley York, sister-in-law, Barbara Mace York.

Survivors: wife, Judy Coble York of the residence, daughter, Teresa Myrick, of Bennett, brother, Ernest Wayne York, of Chattanooga, TN, grandchild, Dusty Myrick, of High Falls, great-grandchildren, Tony Myrick, Cody Myrick, sister-in-law, Ann Raines York, of Chattanooga, TN.

Visitation, 1:30 PM to 3 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
