Dorothy Dunlap Wright, 81, of Asheboro, died Friday, October 20, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Memorial Services, 12 PM, Monday, October 23, 2017, at Union Grove Christian Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Clay Davis, Rev. Garry Reeder.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Dorothy was a native of Moore County, retired from Eveready Battery Company with twenty-eight years of service. She was a member of Hunt's Plank Rd. Chapel. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Auby Dalton and Esther McIntosh Dunlap, sister, Catherine Key, brothers, Douglas Dunlap, Kenneth Dunlap, James Dunlap

Survivors: daughter, Dianne Price, and husband, Michael, of Asheboro, son, Buddy Wright, and wife, Jodi, of Asheboro, sisters, Rachel Moore, of Seagrove, Shelly Fallin, of Pinnacle, Sarah Hussey, of Vass, grandchild, Elizabeth Deaton, and husband, Drew of Seagrove, great-grandson, James Anderson Deaton, step-grandchildren, James Kearns, of Wilmington, Stephanie Wychunas, of Atlanta, GA, special friends, The Henson Family.

Visitation, 11 AM to 11:45 AM, Monday, Union Grove Christian Church, Asheboro and other times at the home of Dianne and Michael Price.
