Darren Ralph Scott, 52, of Ramseur, died Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Beulah Baptist Church, Bennett.

Officiating, Dr. Neal Jackson, Dr. Curtis Barbery.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Darren was a native of Chatham County, longtime resident of Randolph County, and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Chatham Central High School, class of 1984, continuing his education at Sandhills Community College where he transferred to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. He retired from the DOT in 2017 after 30 years of service and currently employed with DRMP Engineering.

Survivors: mother, Brinda Bridges and husband, Edwin, of Siler City, and father, Darrell Scott and wife Annetta, of Bear Creek, .

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
