Danny Russell Lucas, 58, of Liberty, NC, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Wayne Tucker.

Danny was born in Moore County and employed with the Town of Ramseur. He was a shining example of what a man should aspire to as he was loved by the community he served for over 25 years and by his family for who he cared for more than anything else. He was a man who would give the shirt off his back if he thought it would help no matter who you were.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Eutha Brown Lucas and brothers, Jerry and Dee Lucas.

Survivors: wife, Faye Lucas, of the home, daughter, Amanda Farrell, of High Point, step-daughters, Brenda Ashley, Michelle Smith, step-son, Ronald Ingold, and wife, Carla, sisters, Elgie Lucas Tucker, and husband, Wayne, Joan Lucas, and husband, Mike, Joy Tucker, and husband, Eugene, Marcella Lucas Woodell, and husband, Charles, brother, Jacob Lucas, grandchildren, Gregory and Breanna Ashley, McKenzie, John, Joe, and Elizabeth Ingold, Jessica, Sarah, Carson, and Ava Smith, great-grandchildren, Naomi and Eli Ingold.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the home of daughter, Amanda Farrell in High Point.
