Clifton Fletcher Poe, Sr., 84, of 409 Pleasant Cross Church Road, Asheboro, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 2, 2017, at First Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Garry Arnett.

Burial, Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.

He was a native of Randolph County, a retired supervisor with Laughlin Hosiery Mill and a member of First Christian Church in Ramseur. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Edith Coble Poe, first wife, Margaret Brown Poe, infant son, Gerry Poe, daughter, Linda Ann Poe, and grandson, Brian Poe.

Survivors: wife, Junie Laughlin Poe, of the home, daughters, Diann Ellison and husband, Thomas, Debra Routh and husband, Greg, both of Asheboro, son, Clifton "Jr." Poe and wife, Barbara, of Staley, sister, Orpha Lea Clark, and husband, Ralph, of Burlington, step-daughters, Teresa Lohr, of High Rock Lake, Laura Routh, of Oak Island, step-son, Brantley Laughlin, of Gibsonville, grandchildren, Melisa, Gregory, Thomas II, Brandon, Dustin, Tara, Charlie, Jessica and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
