Clayton Ray Garner, 70, of Denton, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.
Officiating, Adam Garner.
Burial, Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Clayton was a native of Randolph County, a US Navy veteran and a retired logger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Hughes Garner, sister, Patty Hamby, brother, Herman Garner, fiance, Mary Ann Andrews.
Survivors: sisters, Ellna Talbert, of Asheboro, Becky Powers, and husband, Everette, of Denton, Kay Craig, and husband, Reid, of Warrensville, Elaine Gallimore, and husband, Tommy, of Denton, Sherrell Callicutt, and husband, Ricky, of Denton, brothers, Whitman Garner, of Denton, Donnell Garner,and wife, Norma, of Denton, Clegg Garner, of Denton, Worth Garner, and wife, Tami, of Denton, numerous nieces and nephews.
