Clara Moon Powell, 90, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Oakhurst Baptist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Dr. Keith Hudson.

Entombment, Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.

Clara was a native of Randolph County and was member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. She was a loving homemaker, mother, and friend. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Wade J. Powell, her parents, Jesse Lewis and Lena Gibson Moon.

Survivors: son, Ronald D. Powell, and wife, Latefa, of Asheboro, daughter, Debra P. Edwards, and husband, Larry, of Apex, sister, Elsa Kiser, of Erect, grandchildren, Leann Barnes, and husband, Scott, of Greenville, SC, Melinda Parker, and husband, Ryan, of Cary, Amanda N. Powell, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert T. Powell, of Cary and two great grandsons on the way.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur and other times at her residence.
