Charlie "Leroy" Hill

Charlie Leroy Hill, 81, of Ramseur, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Fall Creek Baptist Church, 1745 Fall Creek Church Rd., Bennett.

Officiating, Rev. George Townsend, Rev. Edwin Moore.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Leroy was a native of Chatham County and a longtime resident of Ramseur. He was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church and was employed at Ramtex for 41 years as a supervisor. Leroy was a devoted, loving husband, god-father and a kind and warm hearted friend to everyone in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Maie Scott Hill.

Survivors: wife, Lottie Hill, of the home, god-daughter, Tina Brannon, of Kernersville, god-sons, Joe Lineberry, Jr., of Big Cedar, Ontario, Canada, Chuck Lineberry, of Boca Raton, Florida, Rodney Lineberry, of Charlotte, brother-in-law, Jim Hunter, of Ventura, CA., nephew, Revis Hunter, of Oceanside, CA., nieces, Jerita Hunter, of Ventura, CA., Sharon Brubaker, of Camrillo, CA..

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
