Charles Walter "Charlie" Gray, 83, of Asheboro, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

Visitation, 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Friday, Central Falls Baptist Church, Asheboro and other times at the residence.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Friday, October 5, 2018, at Central Falls Baptist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Gerald Hussey, Rev. Howard Moffitt.

Entombment, Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Following the committal service the family will receive friends at the Central Falls Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Charlie was a native of Chatham County and retired supervisor from Energizer Battery Inc. After his retirement he enjoyed working with Loflin Funeral Home in Ramseur for over seven years and he was a member of Central Falls Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike Gray Sr. and Evie Langley Gray, brother, Berley Gray, sister, Polly Gray. sister-in-law, Elsie M. Gray, brother-in-law, Benjamin Ritter.

Survivors: wife, the love of his life and best friend for 51 years, Peggy Moran Gray, of the home, sisters, Doris Brown, and husband Marvin, of Asheboro, Bonnie Ritter, of Ulah, brothers, Ike Gray, and wife Jane, of Siler City, James Wade Gray, and wife Nancy, of Clifton, TX, numerous nieces and nephews.
