Charles Milton Murray, 84, of Bennett, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Bennett Baptist Church.

Officiating, Rev. Edwin Moore, Rev. Tim Strider.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Charles was a native of Chatham County, retired from Burlington Industries and a member of Bennett Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, James and Mary Jane Phillips Murray, sisters, Christine Glass, Fern Auman.

Survivors: wife of 60 years, Genevieve Hussey Murray, of the home, son, Michael Murray and wife, Deanna, of Asheboro, sisters, Esther Greene, of Asheboro, Betty Mace, of Ramseur, Montie Ingold and husband, Leon, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Hannah Smith and husband, Shawn, of Coleridge, Brittany Hicks and husband, Wesley, of Staley, great-grandchildren, Lincoln Smith, Easton Hicks, Gracie Smith, Anniston Hicks.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, Bennett Baptist Church and other times at the residence.
