Carrie Needham Brooks, 100, of 4284 Little Beane Store Rd., Ramseur, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Funeral Services, 4 PM, Monday, June 11, 2018, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Bruce McLanahan, Rev. Leon Wood, Rev. David Schwartz.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Carrie was a native of Randolph County and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She worked in the Coleridge School cafeteria for twenty-one years and celebrated her one hundredth birthday this past March. Carrie was a Charter Member of the Shiloh Baptist Church Women's Fellowship. She was a previous member and treasurer of the Christian Scholarship Assistance Fund. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Woodrow Brooks, parents, Robert and Roella Yow Needham, sister, Cleta Coble, brothers, Henry Needham, Carl Needham. Carrie was loved dearly by her family.

Survivors: daughter, Elaine Brown, and husband, Larry, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Lanette Gaines, and husband, Brian, of Ramseur, Neal Brown, and wife, Sara Beth, of Ramseur, great-grandchildren, Katie, Karrie, Kylie, and Kassie Gaines, Ella, and Brooks Brown.

Visitation, 7 PM to 9 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, and other times at the home of Elaine and Larry Brown, 4338 Little Beane Store Rd. Ramseur.
