Carol Cooke Peace

Carol Cooke Peace, age 75, of Franklinville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro following a short illness.

Funeral Services, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Ramseur Church of God of Prophecy.

Officiating, Rev. Jason Bowser.

Burial, Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur.

Carol was a native of Edgecomb County, a self-employed beautician and retired from The John Plant in Ramseur.  She loved her church family at the Ramseur Church of God of Prophecy where she was a faithful member who loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Alice Armstrong, parents, James and Marlene Armstrong Cooke, and brother, Rev. James Douglas Cooke.

Survivors: husband, Jerry A. Peace, of the home, son, Thomas Moseley, and wife, Brenda, of Denton, brother, Dennis Cooke, and wife, Wanda, of Ramseur, step-sons, Richie Peace, and wife, Delta, of Franklinville, Robbie Peace, and wife, Tammy, of Trinity. She had 9 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
