Bobby Harold Jones

Bobby Harold Jones, 85, of Asheboro, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, December 20, 2019. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

Memorial Services, 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Foster St Wesleyan Church, with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Officiating, Rev. Junior Baker.

Bobby was a native of Randolph County, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Walker Shoe Company. He attended Foster Street Wesleyan Church, where he served as a greeter and usher. He enjoyed tinkering with lawn mowers and "wheelin and dealin" at the flea market. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Otus and Katie Jones, daughters, Lynn Jones Saunders, Susan Marie Jones, and sister, Billie Jones Williams.

Survivors: wife, Betty Kivett Jones, of the home, daughters, Lisa Jones Hanes and husband, Keith, of Asheboro, Kristie Jones Kearns and husband, Rodney, of Ramseur, sister, Brenda Jones Reid, grandchildren, Shannon Whitaker, Emily Hinesley, Luke Hanes, Haley Kearns, Kelli Kearns, great-grandchildren, Lilly and Kenly Whitaker, Lincoln and Estelle Hinesley.
