Bertha Mildred Edgerton Allen, 92, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her residence.
Funeral Services, 11 AM, Friday, May 18, 2018, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur.
Officiating, Rev. Darrin Allen, Rev. Todd Brown.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Bertha was a native of Randolph County, a member of Holly Spring Friends Meeting, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Nathan Allen, her parents, Horace J. and Anna Cameron Edgerton, grandchildren, Amanda L. Rumley, and Brantley Joseph Allen, brothers, Raymond Edgerton, Virgil Edgerton, sisters, Lucille Cheyney, Sybil Penkava, Melva Edgerton.
Survivors: daughters, Judy A. Craven, husband, Norman, of Ramseur, Karen D. Allen, of Asheboro, Leisa Rumley, husband, Richard, of Ramseur., sons, W. Joe Allen, wife, Phyllis, of Ramseur, Thomas E. Allen, wife Christine, of Asheboro, J. Mark Allen, wife Kari, of Winston Salem, Jeffrey B. Allen, wife, Paula, of Climax., grandchildren, Amy C. Wright, husband, Robbie, Darla A. Church, husband, Paul, Joy C. Scott, Darrin C. Allen, wife, Becca, Benjamin N. Rumley, Elizabeth R. Grose, husband, Steven, William J. Allen, wife, Miranda, Matthew G. Allen, Cameron M.
