Funeral Services, 3 PM, Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Burial, Grays Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.

Barbara was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Franklinville. She was formally employed as an office manager at Clapp's Mountain Top Apartments in Asheboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Poe Sr., her son, George Henry Poe Jr., and her father, Harold Sherman Jones,

Survivors: daughter, Tammy Poe Couch, and husband, Danny, of Franklinville, son, Jason William Poe Sr., of Pleasant Garden, mother, Beaulah Mae Freeman, of Asheboro, brothers, Mike Jones, and wife, Brenda, of Franklinville, Jerry Jones, and wife, Sherron, of Asheboro, Tony Brady, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Gabby Poe, and partner, Alex Tsuji, of Greensboro, Heather Jones, and husband, Trey, of Greensboro, Amber Poe, of Franklinville, Jason Poe Jr., of Asheboro, great-grandchildren, Aubri Poe, Lennox Goss, Rex Poe, Venice Goss, sister-in-laws, Ann Tucker, of Greensboro, Sarah Craven, of Greensboro, Marie Beverly, of Chesterfield, MI, special nephews, T.J. Jones, Michael Jones, Tim Jones, all of Franklinville, special niece, Mandy Jones, of, Franklinville, numerous members of the Poe family, and "grand puppy" Gunnar.
