Annie Brown Chriscoe, 95, of Seagrove, died Monday, November 26, 2018 at her residence.
Graveside Services, 2 PM, Friday, November 30, 2018, at Union Grove Baptist Church, Seagrove.
Officiating, Dr. Ron Chaney.
Our loving mother was born to James and Mary Brown in Randolph County. God had been so good to her and blessed her with a long life of good health and a large family who loved her very much. She married Jonah in 1942 and they raised seven children.
She attended Trinity Wesleyan Church for many years and later attended Union Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed visits from Pastor Ron, and Lena Chaney, who were faithful to visit after she became home bound. She also loved her care giver, Linda McVay and regarded her as a member of the family. We can never thank Linda enough for her care and love.
Mama was a wonderful cook. We all loved her biscuits, chicken stew, and custard and sweet potato pies. Mama was a "go to" in both difficult and good times. We all wanted to share our lives with her. She loved her family and friends unconditionally. She will truly be missed and our lives will never be quite the same, but she leaves us knowing that we will meet again one day in Heaven. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
