Biography

Archie Bee Maness, 84, of Ramseur, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 11 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Deep River Baptist Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Ed Carter, Rev. Boyd Jackson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was native of Chatham County, retired from Ramtex after 53 years of service, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge Marietta #444 in Ramseur. He is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Garner Maness.

Survivors: daughters, Marcelle Maness Callicutt, and husband, Wayne, of Asheboro, Brenda M. Leonard, of Archdale, sister, Kathleen Cox, and husband, Cleo of Bennett, grandchildren, Jonathan Dunn, and wife, Stephanie, Angie Allen, and husband, Chad, Justin Leonard, and wife, Casie, Chad Leonard, and wife, Chanda, great grandchildren, Addison Allen, Carley Leonard.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
