Mac Davis

Mac Davis, 91, of Franklinville, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at his residence.

Memorial Services, 12:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Franklinville.

Officiating, Pastor Doug Huttleston, Steven Cox.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mac was a native of Randolph County, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinville. He was a former ICT teacher at Eastern Randolph High School and was the owner and operator of Davis Wood Industries, having built cabinets for nearly twenty years. When not working, Mac enjoyed spending time with family and flying his airplane. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margie Nixon Davis and sisters, Treva Allen and Johnsie Snider.

Survivors: wife of 68 years, Emma "Jo" Davis, of the home, daughter, Tami Hinshaw (Weldon), of Randleman, son, Chris Davis (Denna Trogdon), of Asheboro, grandchildren, Lindsey Essing (Justin), Jared Davis (Quinn), Connor Shipley, great-grandchild, River Essing, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation, 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, Thursday, First Baptist Church of Franklinville, Franklinville.
