George Neal Moore, 68, of Liberty, died Thursday, March 14, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Monday, March 18, 2024, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Staley.

Officiating, Rev. Jimmy Austin.

Burial, Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park, Julian.

George was born in Guilford County and was a longtime resident of Randolph County. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Staley and formerly employed in maintenance with Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorlos Hinshaw Moore.

Survivors: wife, Youlanda Cox Moore, of the home, daughter, Sharon Wright and husband, Richard, of Liberty, brother, Marshall Allen Moore, of Liberty, grandchildren, Cheyenne Franchi and husband, Joey, Hailey Moore and fiance, Noah, great-grandson, George Ray Franchi.

Visitation, 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, Monday, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Staley and other times at the residence..
