Barbara York Craven

Barbara York Craven, 85, of Ramseur, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence.

Graveside Services, 1:00 PM, Monday, April 22, 2024, at Parks Crossroads Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Randy Kelley.

Barbara was a native of Randolph County and a longtime resident of Ramseur. She was a member of Parks Crossroads Christian Church and retired from Randolph Telephone Membership Corporation. Barbara was a wonderful mother and grandmother that put her family first in everything. She loved dancing, gardening and going shopping, but most of all she loved her Lord and Savior. She also cherished her longtime frienship with Linda and Sam Brooks. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Eugene Ray Craven, her parents Oris Andrew and Arta Hazel York, and sister, Vicki Mackler.

Survivors: daughters, Gina Gibson, and husband, Mark, of Greensboro, Sherry Gaster, and husband, Michael, of Asheboro, grandsons, Aaron Gibson, Andrew Gibson, and granddaughter, Michaela Gaster.

The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
