William Diffie "Bill" Caviness, Jr., 82, of 1095 Brooklyn Ave. Ext., Ramseur, NC, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3 PM, Friday, April 20, 2018, at Mt. Olivet Wesleyan Church, Liberty.
Officiating, Rev. Jeff Garner.
Burial, Parks Crossroads Christian Church, Ramseur with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Bill was a native of Moore County, a veteran of the United States Airforce, and a retired farmer and electrician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Cockman Caviness, parents, Diffie and Colon Brower Caviness, Sr.
Survivors: sons, William Anthony Caviness, and wife, June, of Ramseur, Timothy Ray Caviness, and wife Sue, of Ramseur, sister, Marie Brady, of Siler City, brother, James "Bud" Caviness, of Burlington, grandchildren, Michael Caviness, and wife, Dawn, of Kannapolis, Robert Caviness, and fiancee, Kelli, of Ramseur, Christopher Caviness, and fiancee, K.T., of Ramseur, great-grandchildren, Adia Caviness, Aiden Caviness, both of Ramseur, Cole Caviness, Cadence Caviness, both of Kannapolis, Braelyn Caviness, Nevaeh Cratt, both of Ramseur.
