William Oliver Collier, 88, of Liberty, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence.

Memorial Services, 3:30pm, Sunday, at Community Baptist Church, Siler City.

Officiating, Rev. Mark Agan.

He was native of Randolph County, a 1948 graduate of Liberty High School, US Army veteran, a charter member of Liberty Ruritan,  a member of Community Baptist Church, and a farmer up to his death. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude Moore Collier and his wife, Betty Thompson Collier, sisters, Julia Brooks, Revel Parks, and Margaret Smith.

Survivors: daughter, Jeanna C. Frye, and husband, Marty, of Liberty, grandchildren, Corinna Frye and Bryson Frye, both of Liberty, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the residence.
