Walter J. Nooe, Jr., 72, of Troy, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

No services are scheduled.

Walter was a native of Montgomery County, formerly employed with Lexington Furniture and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors: daughter, Angela N. Bruno, of Asheboro, sons, Michael A. Nooe, of Ramseur, Wayne P. Nooe, of Asheboro, brother, John T. Nooe, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Riley Bruno, Kailee Bruno, Easton Bruno.
