Vernon Hansel Brown, 74, of 3781 Old Moffitt Rd., Seagrove, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

Vernon was a native of Randolph County, a graduate of Nashville Diesel College, and formerly employed with Covington Diesel.  He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of Huldah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walton and Laverne Beane Brown.

Survivors: sons, Christopher Mark Brown, and wife, Amber, of Seagrove, Stephen Walton Brown, of San Francisco, CA, brother, Dallas Brown, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Gracia, Eliana, Alexis, Abigail, Monique, former wife, Judy Brown.
