Teresa Garner Whitehead, 91, of 170 White Lake Drive, Ramseur, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Universal Health Care in Ramseur.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Evon Pulliam.

Burial, Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.

Teresa was a native of Moore County, a homemaker and a member of Staley Wesleyan Church for over 50 years.  She was "Big Mama" to many kids in the community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Ettie Williams Garner, husband, Charles Whitehead, son, Ronnie Ritter, daughter, Cornelia Brown, sisters, Alice Brown, Geneva Nance, Faye Golien, Dorothy Williams, brothers, Melvin Garner, and Roy Garner.  

Survivors: daughters, Kathy Overman, and husband, Jimmy, Martha Foust, and husband, Gene, both of Ramseur, Donna Whitehead, of Staley, Marie Williams, and husband, Pat, of Wilmington, son, Ernest William Whitehead, and wife, Sandra, of Liberty, sister, Mary Jane Williams, and husband, Dolen, of Asheboro, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren.
