Sarah Anne Johnson, 17, of 3019 Whites Memorial Road, Franklinville, died Friday, September 2, 2016 from injuries sustained in a collision on Loflin Pond Road in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Rev. Grady Blakely, Rev. Jeff Joyce, Rev. Arlen Johnson.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Sarah was a native of Randolph County, attended Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Troy, and was a member of the class of 2017, of Fayetteville Street Christian School in Asheboro.  She served on summer staff with the N. C. Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell in Oak Island.  Sarah was a member of the volleyball team and senior choir.  She was a talented artist and singer, and played piano and guitar.

Survivors: parents, Arlen and Kimberly Morris Johnson, of the home, sisters, Carrie Grace Johnson, Hannah Joy Johnson, both of the home, paternal grandmother, Brenda Johnson, of Asheboro, maternal grandparents, Daniel and Ann Morris, of Troy, along with many extended family members.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, Cornerstone Baptist Church, Goldston and other times at the residence.
