Ronald Allen Ray, 72, of 222 Lambe Ln., Franklinville, died Monday, July 3, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Franklinville United Methodist Church, Franklinville.
Officiating, Rev. Chris West, Rev. Harold Hammond.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Ronald was a native of Caldwell County, a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of N.C. State University, a member of Franklinville United Methodist Church, and a retired plant manager in the furniture industry. After retirement, Ronald's passion was operating the Cedar Creek Flea Mall in Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ilene Starr, and Clarence Franklin Ray.
Survivors: wife, Lyndia Ray, of the residence, daughter, Ronda Hill, and husband, Tony, of Franklinville, son, Tracey Ray, and wife, Amy, of Ramseur, sister, Carol Cable, and husband, Bill, of Lenoir, sister-in-law, Jean Ray, of Granite Falls, granddaughter, Payton Hill, step-Granddaughters, Lindsey Grubbs, and husband, Joe, Kailey Samios, and husband, Micah, step-grandsons, Tanner Hill, Tyler Hill, Travis Long, step-great grandson, Noah Samios, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, and other times at the residence.
