May you find comfort and strength in knowing that God loves you and he cares for you, through talking to God in prayer, and from God's Word, the Bible. Psalm 36:7 says: "How precious your loyal love is, O God! In the shadow of your wings, the sons of men take refuge". Psalm 62:8 "Pour out your hearts before him. God is a refuge for us". My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. It is so sad when we lose a love one in death. The Bible speaks of death as an enemy that God’s kingdom will eliminate. Notice the wonderful promise for the future at 1 Cor.15:26“. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” God will remove death permanently. You can also find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28-29 “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you at this time..
