Myrtie Garner Hussey, 85, of 5067 Waddells Ferry Rd., Seagrove, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 2 PM, Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Riverside Baptist Church, Seagrove.

Officiating, Rev. Kenneth Bouldin, Rev. Gerald Hussey, Mr. Bennie Hussey.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Myrtie was a native of Randolph County, retired from the textile industry beginning at Millikan's in Robbins and then working thirty-nine years at Ramtex in Ramseur. She was a faithful member of the Riverside Baptist Church with fifty-three years perfect attendance where she was a member of the choir. Myrtie enjoyed gospel music, working with her cows and making butter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Hussey, parents, Q. O. "Bid" and Sarah Williamson Garner, brothers, Lennie Garner, Robert Garner, Curtis Garner, Eli Garner, Eugene Garner, Edgar Garner, sisters, Mattie Garner Hussey, Nettie Garner Hussey, Maie Garner Ritter.

Survivors: son, Ricky Hussey, of the home, and she was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
