James Ronald "Mickey" Welch, 71, of 9344 Riverside Road, Seagrove, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence.

Mickey was a native of Moore County and retired from NC DOT. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Esther Culler Welch, his brother, Willie Welch.
Survivors: son, Kevin Welch, of Ramseur, granddaughter, Krista Welch, of Myrtle Beach, SC, sister-in-law, Patti Welch, of Robbins, nephew, Barry Welch.
