Maxine York Benson, of Franklinville, died Friday, April 6, 2018 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 11 AM, Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Franklinville.
Officiating, Rev. Kenneth McNeill.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Maxine was a native of Randolph County, retired from General Electric with 25 years of service, and a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinville where she played the piano since age 12. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Moon, second husband, John Benson, parents, James Oliver and Mattie Burrow York, brothers, Clarence York, Clifford York, Astor York, sisters, Mary Martin, Ina Y. Coward, Pauline Y. Wright, Mabel Y. Blair.
Survivors: numerous nieces and nephews, special great-nephew, Bill Grose.
