God cares for those who have a broken heart; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; he binds up their wounds". God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Please accept my sincere condolences. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. ( Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. ( Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
