Martha York Bowman, 81, of Liberty, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Siler City Center.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Monday, February 5, 2018, at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Rev. Jim Simonds, Rev. Tim Pheagin.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Martha was a native of Randolph County, retired from The John Plant in Ramseur and was a member of Whites Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Numa C. and Victoria Haithcox York.

Survivors: husband, Vernon "V.C." Carl Bowman, Sr. of the home, sons, Vernon Bowman, Jr., and wife, Teresa, of Asheboro, Mickey Bowman, and wife, Shelly, of Staley, sister, Faydene Brown, of Asheboro, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, Whites Chapel United Methodist Church, Liberty.
