Linville Newton Allred, 86, of Ramseur, died Monday, May 8, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Friday, May 12, 2017, at Bethany United Methodist Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Rev. Sharon Quate.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Linville was a native of Randolph County, a veteran of the United States Army, retired from Ramseur Interlock, and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Liberty. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Josie Jones Allred, his son, Hal Allred, and his siblings, James Allred, Olin Allred, Hazel Allred, Evelyne Woodell, and Jesse Allred.

Survivors: wife, Louise McMasters Allred, of the home, son, Mark Allred, and wife, Vicki, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Tyler Allred, Macy Jo Allred.

Visitation, 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM, Friday, Bethany United Methodist Church, Liberty and other times at the residence.
