I would like to share a comforting Scripture from God's inspired Word, the Bible with the family. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Please accept my sincere condolences. I had the priviledge of seeing her play her harmonica and spoons at the 150th year Anniversary celebration at Union Grove Christian Church. I am so saddened of her death Prayers for Maxton, Shelby and Family...

Dear Byrd and Brown family,
We are very sorry for the loss of Leona. She was very dedicated to family and service to her church. She was an inspiration to the Brown family for her faithfulness to family gatherings and the annual Brown reunion. We will miss this devoted matriarch and wish her God speed.
